Information

In order to receive your deposit back you must cancel a minimum of 48 hours before your booking. If you are within 48 hours of your reservation, you deposit will not be refunded to you. If you cancel on the same day, your deposit will be held and in addition, the full price of the tour will be charged.

If our captains deem it unsafe to be on the water, we may cancel a booking and the customer will be fully refunded. Depending on the type of trip you booked, our seasoned captains will take a look at radars, wind speed and direction, and come up with a plan for the day that will satisfy your wishes and also keep you safe and comfortable. Keep in mind certain wind speeds will prohibit offshore snorkeling, but we do have plenty of options in the bay for snorkeling where you can still see the beautiful aquatic life of the Florida Keys.

We do not provide food, but you are more than welcome to bring any food and snacks you’d like. We provide a cooler with ice to keep perishables in.

We provide a cooler with ice. You may bring whatever other beverages you would like, including alcohol.

Pets are welcome, but remember any damage caused by pets will be the customer’s financial responsibility.

Our captains work for tips, and it is standard to tip 15%-20% of your booking! Our captains work very hard to ensure you and your party have an unforgettable time out on the water and all tips go directly to them and are very much appreciated!

FAQ

Our boats have a lot of storage, so bring whatever you’d like! Towels, snacks, beverages, sunscreen, extra coolers, cups, etc are all welcome!

Your safety is our number one priority here at Anchors Away. On occasion, it may be too windy to snorkel on the reefs ocean side safely. In these cases, we will present other options to you such as snorkeling through the mangroves, exploring founders park, searching for marine life, etc to ensure you still have a memorable and enjoyable excursion. In the cases where the weather is "un-boatable", which will be evaluated by our experienced captains, cancellations and refunds will be provided.

The United States Coast Guard implemented limit for the number of people allowed on our vessels is 6 individuals (not including the captain). Unfortunately, there are no exceptions we are able to make to this law.

In compliance with United States Coast Guard regulations, they are still considered 1 person in the total count.

We provide a cooler with ice, life vests, a paddle board, games such as frisbee and balls to throw, other floats, snorkel gear, and other various items upon request such as cups, water saddles, etc.
